Yoga Nidra & Singing Bowl Meditation

Deep Relaxation

One hour of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as three hours of sleep!

Join Joy Yeager-Lasher for Yoga Nidra and Singing Bowl Meditation. We’ll begin with 45 minutes of yoga Nidra, where you will be guided through various breathing techniques, body part focuses and visualizations to help you enter the deepest possible state of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. This will be followed by 30 minutes of sound meditation with singing bowls.

Yoga Nidra is a harmonious sleep-like state that is reported during deep meditation. You’ll follow the voice of the narrator, Joy, while lying comfortably on your back in Savanasa (corpse pose).

The sound portion of the class will incorporate the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls and Crystal Singing Bowls, all played by Joy.

Through the 75-minute class, you will remain awake and conscious while slowly descending into a deeply relaxed state similar to sleep.

This special class is for everybody, regardless of age, fitness level or experience. This practice has vast appeal for anyone who struggles to let go. It’s also great for any student who has read about deep states of meditation or experienced it on their own but has never been able to recreate it.

Joy Yeager-Lasher is a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and trained personally in 2015 with Gong Meditation and Tibetan Singing Bowl expert Kenny Kolter in Dallas. During their time together, Joy learned about various playing techniques of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gongs, as well as how to incorporate them into yoga classes, group singing bowl/gong classes and private, one-on-one sound meditation sessions. The training also included studying the origin and history of singing bowls, the fabrication of them, and the different types and names.
This special class is non-refundable and non-transferable. By enrolling, you are taking ownership of that spot. This guarantees your space in class and prevents someone else from being able to register into that slot. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation of this policy.
