Join us for a 90-minute Gentle Yoga and Sound Bath Experience.
We will begin with gentle yoga poses to help guide your body into a deeply relaxed state. This will be followed by a sound bath meditation that might incorporate the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls and a Gong. This is the perfect practice to help to reduce stress and tension and harmonize your body, mind and spirit.
Wear your most comfortable clothes. Please bring your own mat, pillow(s), and blanket(s).

Science has confirmed that sound can directly affect mood, brain waves, the nervous system and body chemistry. The vibrations of singing bowls stimulate the body to help produce the alpha waves that are present in the brain in deep relaxation. Singing bowl, also called healing bowls, can be traced back to Asia as early as 2000 B.C. They are made of an alloy of 7 different precious metals, creating a range of different sounds and overtones.
Our instructors are certified yoga teachers with the Yoga Alliance and have been trained in Gong Meditation and Singing Bowls by Joy Lasher. They are familiar with various playing techniques of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gongs, as well as how to incorporate them into yoga classes and group singing bowl/gong classes. The training also included studying the origin and history of singing bowls, the fabrication of them, and the different types and names.
