In-person hours will take place at Aspire Yoga Center located at 3709 Benton Road in Bossier City, Louisiana.

100% attendance is required to graduate and receive a certificate of completion from our program. All missed hours must be made up within one (1) year of the program completion date. One “make-up” weekend is scheduled June 24-26, 2022 for missed hours to be made up at no additional fee. Additional make-up sessions can be scheduled one-on-one with the lead teacher for $75/hour or during the next YTT program (dates are not available for this option at this time).
Online Hours:
Although most of our training will take place in person, our Yoga Alliance-approved program allows us to teach some yoga anatomy and philosophy lessons online. Expect that nearly 40 hours of our 200-hour curriculum will be online work, outside of our in-person dates together. An outline of this work will be provided to you during our first weekend together.
Personal Yoga Practice:
Maintaining a consistent personal yoga practice is an essential part of being an effective and inspiring yoga teacher. Throughout the training, we ask you to practice yoga a minimum of three times per week. If you’re unable to attend classes in-person, you will have access to online yoga classes at Aspire Yoga Center during our teacher training to help support your practice.

Outcomes and Core Curriculum

We are 100% committed to offering a well-rounded yoga education for each participant that is accessible, fun and professional. Through elevating your own yoga practice and the growth you’ll experience teaching yoga to others throughout this training, you will gain the necessary skills to confidently teach an all-levels breath-based heated flow yoga class, as well as gentle yoga and yin yoga.
Deepen Your Practice

Throughout this training, you will gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of yoga asana and pranayama — the physical yoga practice and understanding of breath. We’ll also have a look at the effects of yoga on the subtle body with a focus on the chakras and nadis.

Yoga Alliance Approved

We keep exceptionally-high standards in providing a professional teaching environment. Aspire Yoga School is a registered school with the Yoga Alliance. Upon 100% completion of this program, you have the opportunity to register with them as a certified RYT-200 teacher.

Dynamic Teaching Skills

This 200-hour teacher training will focus on skills to become a dynamic yoga teacher. Our school’s main style of yoga focuses on synchronized vinyasa flow/power flow, and will also include gentle yoga and yin yoga.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness both on and off the mat will be key focal points throughout the training. Expect daily meditation practice and journaling for self-reflection and discovery throughout the training.

History, Philosophy & Ethics

In addition to teaching safe and effective yoga asana (poses), there will be an emphasis on learning about yoga history, philosophy, the Yoga Sutras and 8 limbs of yoga and how they're all relevant today.

Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics

Included is a comprehensive anatomy course that is designed to bring simple and understandable explanations of how anatomy and yoga are related so they can be applied to teach safe and inspiring classes.

Practice Teaching

Our teacher training centers on practice teaching where you’ll receive feedback that you can immediately incorporate into teaching. You’ll finish YTT feeling confident in your teaching skills and prepared to deliver potent classes that will light up your students and leave them inspired.

Professional Development

Continuing education and professional development is an absolute must for all well-qualified teachers, including yoga teachers! We’ll examine best practices for yoga professionals and have an entire workshop dedicated to the business of yoga.

Teaching Methodolgy

We’ll explore creative sequencing that is safe, effective and inspiring and delve into appropriate verbal, visual and physical cueing to make your classes alive and relevant.

Community Connection

Through this program, you're going to connect with a community of other like-minded individuals who you'll learn and grow with during, and likely, past our time together. Connections made could very well last a lifetime.
