Science has confirmed that sound can directly affect mood, brain waves, the nervous system and body chemistry. The vibrations of singing bowls stimulate the body to help produce the alpha waves that are present in the brain in deep relaxation. Singing bowl, also called healing bowls, can be traced back to Asia as early as 2000 B.C. They are made of an alloy of 7 different precious metals, creating a range of different sounds and overtones.

Joy Lasher is a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and trained personally in 2015 with Gong Meditation and Tibetan Singing Bowl expert Kenny Kolter in Dallas. During their time together, Joy learned about various playing techniques of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gongs, as well as how to incorporate them into yoga classes, group singing bowl/gong classes and private, one-on-one sound meditation sessions. The training also included studying the origin and history of singing bowls, the fabrication of them, and the different types and names.
This special class is non-refundable and non-transferable. By enrolling, you are taking ownership of that spot. This guarantees your space in class and prevents someone else from being able to register into that slot. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation of this policy.
