Are you new to yoga? Not sure where to start? Or are you thirsty for more foundational knowledge? If so, this Yoga 101 course is for you!
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
Hatha yoga uses postures, breath awareness and relaxation techniques to produce a healthy physical body and a clear, peaceful mind. This series will help you to develop a safe understanding of basic yoga postures, their benefits and help you build confidence to move to the next level!
- This class series for beginners and anyone wishing to deepen their practice will include:
- Basic history of yoga
- Overview of the various styles of yoga
- Yoga studio etiquette
- Discussions on Namaste and OM
- Breath work
- Step-back Sun Salutations
- Standing and seated poses with an eye on proper alignment and modifications for each pose for all levels
- Relaxation and meditation
- Answers to any questions you have about yoga!
All you need to bring is yourself! We’ve got you covered with a mat (or bring your own).
Class meets for three consecutive weeks on the same day and time for 75 minutes.
Sundays at 1:00pm – 8/6, 8/13 and 8/20

The total cost for this special introduction to yoga course is $45 per student. Space is limited. Online registration below is required with payment due at enrollment.
Heather Delia is the founder of Aspire Yoga Center and has experienced transformational benefits from yoga — physically, mentally and spiritually. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance and has a deep desire to share the gift of yoga and her knowledge and passion for the practice with students.
This course is non-refundable and non-transferable. By enrolling, you are taking ownership of that spot. This guarantees your space in class and prevents someone else from being able to register into that slot. No make-up classes will be made available for missed class.
